What This Site is All About

My name is Mike and I am a newsoholic. Thanks to my addiction, you can view the gold nuggets of knowledge I’ve posted here, without sifting through tons of ore. Free of charge. And every time you return, there will be new gold nuggets.

This is not one of those automated news sites that post any article that hits the wires. I personally select which links are worthy of being posted here and I upload them myself. You’ll find news, politics, business, entertainment, sports, celebrities, humor and a smathering of the just plain weird. I want to keep you informed, entertained, enlightened and amazed.

I read every newspaper in the Big Horn Basin as frequently as it is published to keep you up-to-the-moment with local news. I also post the link to the daily KODI radio newscast. I read the Billings Gazette, Casper Star-Tribune, Jackson Daily News and Cheyenne Tribune-Eagle scanning for state and local news. I watch multiple national news sources throughout the day so I can frequently update this site with breaking stories throughout the country and world. And I write my own articles as needed to add even more Cody news to this site.

I grew up first delivering newspapers, then reading them, then starting, operating and owning them. Now I’ve become an “aggregator,” someone who reads dozens of online news sources and provides links to the best and most interesting info to people like you. I like this because there are no print or distribution costs, no layout, no staff and no office. You like it because you get the best news and features 24/7 without having to wait for the next edition of a printed newspaper. Free of charge.
